rho Architects is hiring! Were a small firm specializing in single-family residential design in the great Pacific Northwest and unique commercial projects around the globe. We are currently seeking a Project Designer/Architect to join our collaborative studio environment here in downtown Seattle. The position is expected to be full-time and primarily in person. A competitive compensation package will be offered during the interview process and will be based on the experience/qualifications of each individual. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- B.Arch. (or equivalent) accredited degree, minimum
- 4-7 years of architectural design/documentation
- Working knowledge of construction materials, assembly, and detailing
- Strong understanding of single-family residential building codes
- Architectural license (or on track to licensure)
Software:
- 1 year of ArchiCAD use (highly encouraged)
- Sketchup (highly encouraged)
- Enscape
- Vive VR
- Adobe Suite
- Microsoft Office
Candidates should be ready to:
- Support projects through SD, DD, CD, and CA
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Contribute to design discussions and iterative workflows
- Work both independently and collaboratively
- Communicate with consultants and industry professionals
- Examine their work for consistency and clarity
