Laborer for Heavy Equipment Program The Sussex Conservation District is seeking a full-time Laborer for its Heavy Equipment Program. This role is integral to our team, as it requires assisting the heavy equipment operator in completing various drainage and other projects assigned by the Project Field Coordinator. Candidates must be able to dig trenches and ditches, assist in installing drainage pipe systems, use basic hand tools, help with maintenance on trucks and equipment, drive trucks with trailers carrying materials and equipment, and check grade on projects. A clean driving record is required, with a CDL being preferred but not required. The position is located at 23818 Shortly Road, Georgetown, DE 19947.
