Electrical Estimator

SKILLED ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR WANTED for Southwest Houston Electrical Construction Company. This position requires you to analyze the components of the project to create an accurate cost estimation.

Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:
*Reviewing blueprints to determine wire length, counts / takeoff etc.
*Determining the amount, type and cost of materials and fixtures needed
*Type proposals for submitting to GC
*Determining labor and material costs for change orders
*Completing and submitting competitive project bids in accordance with established guidelines
*Provide suppliers with blueprints for material estimates
*Ability to interpret blueprints and acknowledge scales
*GC communication regarding questions or concerns on estimates

Qualifications required but no limited to:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Word and Excel
Proficient in PROCORE software a bonus - but not mandatory
BLUEBEAM software experience a bonus - but not mandatory
Effective communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Detailed oriented
