Shop Supervisor**
**Job Description**
Promote safety and excellent customer service in all activities. Assign shop staff work schedules and duties to maximize manpower. Prepare repair orders per company policy and complete scheduled preventive maintenance, tire changes, tractor/trailer/tank repairs. Issue Purchase Order numbers for the purchase of shop supplies and parts for repairs and inventory, label parts, and store parts on shelves in the Part Room. Contact vendors when trucks have roadside breakdowns, assist drivers with trailer prep for loads, and with problems that arise during deliveries. Maintain the shop in a clean, orderly, non-hazardous environment. Carry out other duties as assigned by the CSC Manager.

**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical skills
+ Supervision
+ Diesel mechanic experience
+ At least 2 years of supervisory experience
+ DOT inspection experience
+ Ability to manage a team and mentor other mechanics
+ Management skills
+ Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Tanker experience is a plus
+ Willingness to perform hands-on mechanical work
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks
+ Meet qualification requirements as stipulated in Section 396.19 and 396.25 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
