Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in architecture, engineering, or construction management. This role requires a passionate individual who is eager to learn and adapt in the fast-paced environment of pharma/life sciences construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preconstruction activities including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement.
  • Manage buyouts and work collaboratively with subcontractors to ensure project scope is clearly defined.
  • Oversee project management and construction supervision for projects ranging from $5 million to $40 million, with potential involvement in larger projects up to $400 million.
  • Coordinate change orders and cost analysis to maintain budget integrity.
  • Conduct site development and manage project coordination, pricing, bidding, and RFIs.
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects through effective leadership and communication.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proficiency in preconstruction, scheduling, budgets, buyouts, and scope of work.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical construction projects is essential.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore and ACC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large teams, including subcontractors.
  • Intermediate understanding of all core engineering disciplines.
  • Successful track record as a Project Manager in construction.
  • Minimum of 8 hours of leadership/supervisory training annually.
Work Environment

This position requires office work, with a five-day work week at the office. You will be part of a collaborative team within a national organization that maintains a small company feel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
