Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Project Architect with 3-5 years of experience in high-end residential design to join our collaborative and fast paced boutique studio. This individual may lead the architectural development and management of smaller residential projects from design through the production of construction documents and construction administration, or lead a piece of a larger project.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential architecture in a variety of project types, lake front and luxury condominium preferred.
Extensive knowledge of architectural principles and practices, building codes, regulatory compliance, construction processes and project documentation standards.
Proven ability to produce detailed construction documents through all project phases to maintain alignment with quality, technical standards and design intent.
Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, engineers, and contractors, to align on project objectives and standards.
Skilled in developing work plans, building and managing project schedules, budgets and resources.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Superior client service skills to support and maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction.
Exceptional design sensibility and presentation skills.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite required.
Advanced skills in 3D modeling and graphic software preferred.
Bachelors' or master's degree in architecture is required.
Additional Details:
Type of Employment: Full-time
Must be Prepared to commute daily to office location in Austin, TX.
