Key Responsibilities:
Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Modeling: Perform modeling using PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS tools
Streambank and Buffer Restoration: Design and implement streambank and buffer restoration projects
Bridge and Culvert Modeling: Conduct bridge/culvert modeling and floodplain delineation
Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Services:
o Provide comprehensive MS4 consulting services to municipal clients
o Develop and implement MS4 Pollution Reduction Plans
Stormwater Management & Erosion Control:
o Design stormwater management and erosion and sediment control Best Management Practices (BMPs)
o Lead flood mitigation and storm sewer design efforts
Municipal Stormwater Authorities: Assist in developing and implementing stormwater authorities and fee structures
Green Infrastructure (GI) Design: Create sustainable Green Infrastructure (GI) solutions
Project Documentation and Permitting:
o Prepare project designs and reports for SWM, NPDES, and E&S
o Complete PADEP Joint and General Permit Applications
Regulatory Coordination: Collaborate with PADEP, ACOE, and County Conservation Districts
Project Management: Ensure successful project delivery by managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and design team coordination
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Engineer-In-Training (required), Professional Engineer (preferred)
4+ years' experience in water resources engineering to include:
o Stormwater design
o Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling
o Streambank restoration design
o Regulatory permitting
o Project presentations
o Specification writing
o Meeting facilitation
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, computerized project management systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint, PCSWMM, HydroCAD, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Civil3D (preferred)
Client-focused leader and team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Must have a valid U.S. driver's license)
Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
