What You will Do:

Successfully execute design and development tasks to provide engineering solutions

Create 3D models based off of existing drawings in NX

Present work to customers at product reviews

Generate design documentation such as product review material, tolerance stacks, and design layout

Work as part of a cohesive design engineering team

Understand requirements and evaluate new product structural integrity and functionality in support of meeting those requirements

Conceptualize and prepare preliminary and final detail design and documentation of systems components and assemblies

Review and approve the technical work of other design engineers

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

6-9 years of experience in design/modeling

Experience creating models in NX Unigraphics is a must

Familiarity with aerospace components, preferably fuel controls, pumps, valves, etc

General knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing techniques (castings, metal cutting, turning, coatings, milling, EDM, welding, sheet metal/composite forming and joining, metal tube bending), and industry standards

General knowledge of GD&T and ability to perform tolerance stacks

Blueprint reading, understanding and transfer ability

Strong communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Windsor, Connecticut and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.

Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
