Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:45pm-1:45am

About this Opportunity:
The Brake Press Operator plans, lays out, and performs all types of sheet metal operations to fabricate a wide variety of units or products of complex design involving close tolerances.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operate and perform setup of all types of sheet metal machines to bend, cut or form parts
Use a variety of sheet metal hand tools and measuring instruments
Perform shop mathematics at an intermediate level
Read and understand blueprints at an intermediate level
Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
Accurately record and report hours worked
Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
Participate in required company meetings
Maintain an organized work area (5S)
Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
What makes you a great fit:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
2 years of experience in brake press setup
Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to take direction from the area manager
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
