  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, software, and fabrication to ensure complete system integration.
  • Design for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness, including selection of materials and mechanical components.
  • Lead or contribute to the design and development of automated parts handling systems and assembly line enhancements.
  • Support fabrication and assembly processes by providing clear, complete documentation and assisting with troubleshooting during build and commissioning.
  • Perform mechanical analysis and validation of designs through testing, FEA, and prototyping.
  • Participate in customer meetings, project reviews, and on-site installations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Strong understanding of robotics, material handling, pneumatics, vision systems, and industrial automation.
  • Experience with panel design, machine controls, and bar code scanning systems.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple complex projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding, machining, and sheet metal processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications below are a plus:

  • Experience with flame treating systems, cleaning systems, and case packing equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLC integration, HMI design, and sensor technologies.
