Job Description:
CNH is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support our team in Goodfield, IL. This is a short-term contract role, ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in structural design and fluid routing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop structural components such as brackets and supports for agricultural machinery.
• Create and manage hydraulic and fertilizer routing systems, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, hydraulics, and systems engineering.
• Generate and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Support prototype builds and resolve design-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in structural design and fluid routing (hydraulic/fertilizer systems).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Contract Duration:
This is a temporary position expected to last through the end of the calendar year.
