- Lead multiple strategic projects using Finnings Project Management and Continuous Improvement Methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain project charters and roadmaps in collaboration with business owners, process owners, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate rental project activities, including job site installation, operation, and demobilization, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Support proposal development, including equipment specifications, labor planning, and subcontractor coordination.
- Mentor and guide project leads, promoting best practices in project management and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, service operations, coordinators, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage risks, and report on key milestones and deliverables.
- Champion change management by identifying root causes of issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring sustainable improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Finning policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Represent the company professionally, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management experience, with a focus on business improvement, change management, or rental operations.
- 5+ years of relevant business experience, ideally in a technical, service, or consulting environment.
- Training in Process Management, Change Management, Quality Management, or Lean Methodologies is preferred.
- Project Management certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement frameworks is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and comfort managing ambiguity.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and job site logistics is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar Power Systems products is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.

- Permanent, full-time role.
- Monday Friday, 5 x 2 schedule (availability to respond to emergencies after hours).
