Mechanical Millwright**
**Job Description**
As a Mechanical Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mill equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Your duties will include performing necessary repairs, rebuilding equipment as required, and lubricating machinery according to manufacturer specifications. You will conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, weld to make repairs, and handle hydraulic hoses. Additionally, you will install and repair all industrial machinery and equipment within the facility, focusing on restoring down machines to operational status swiftly.

+ Focus on restoring non-functional machines to operational status quickly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in mechanical installations or repairs.
+ Proficiency in welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with hydraulic components and hoses.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Blueprint reading skills.
+ Mechanical repair expertise.
+ Knowledge of motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

**Work Environment**
This position involves working directly in the pipe mill for natural gas industry companies. The plant is characterized by a loud and dirty environment, requiring comfort with such conditions. Uniforms are provided, but employees must be comfortable working amid fumes produced by welding machines. The role involves a union membership after 51 days, with dues calculated as 1.45% of wages plus an additional hourly fee. Shifts typically run from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 10 AM to 8 PM, alternating during the week, and all employees work the first shift on Fridays. Saturdays may be required as needed.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $49587.20 - $74880.00/yr.
