General Laborer**
**Job Description**
Join our team for a one-month labor project in Bremerton, focusing on ship cleaning at PSNS. You will play a crucial role in supporting ship maintenance and cleanliness through various tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in painting and performing minor repairs on the ship.
+ Sand parts as necessary to maintain ship integrity.
+ Utilize light hand and power tools to fix ship components.
+ Perform ship clean-up, including sweeping and other light cleaning duties.
+ Support in cleaning up abrasive grit.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with a needle gun and general labor tasks.
+ Proficiency in sanding and light power tool usage.
+ Ability to perform touch-up painting on ships.
+ Experience in sweeping and cleaning.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous work on ships or similar environments is advantageous.
+ Candidates with recent experience on the base may find the badging process easier.
**Work Environment**
This is a 1-month contract position requiring work from 6AM to 4:30PM, with potential additional hours on Saturdays. The work involves cleaning out ship tanks and other general labor tasks in a shipyard environment.
