Our Master Schedulers are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include:
- Develop and maintain individual or integrated event-driven Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) based on Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) and associated milestones used for planning and tracking of program activities based on contractual and company requirements for assigned program(s).
- Review contract documents and specifications to understand schedule and reporting requirements.
- Gather, analyze information, update IMS, and prepare progress/performance metrics to present to Program Managers along with recommendations for corrective actions to bring schedule in line from any deviations.
- Facilitate schedule focused meetings with internal and external stakeholders to develop and manage schedule for assigned program(s).
- Assist with capacity planning to define operational resource needs to meet the schedule demand.
- Support IPT to flow down schedule/staffing requirements in formats that are useful for the leads to easily utilize in their day-to-day execution of planned work.
- Support Schedulers as a team-oriented effort to accomplish objectives.
- Assist planners with work package development as needed to establish budgets, sequencing, usage, and build location for material based on facility capacity and build strategy.
- Assist Production Control Manager and others with various special projects.
- Responsible for interfacing with customers and internal departments (Contracts, Supply Chain, Production, Finance, Engineering, etc.) on related issues involving scope and preparation of program/project schedules.
If you have at least 15 years’ experience with Primavera P6, possess a High School Diploma or GED and fundamental knowledge in marine electrical systems, we want to talk to you!
