Press Brake Operator**

**Job Description**

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a press brake and must be proficient in basic math, including fractions and decimals. The ability to accurately read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers, as well as read and understand blueprints, is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate press brake machine for metal fabrication

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately

+ Use measuring tools like tape measures and calipers effectively

+ Handle materials as required for fabrication

+ Ensure precision in metal sheet cutting and shaping

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum 3 years experience operating a press brake

+ Proficiency in basic math including fractions and decimals

+ Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers

+ Blueprint reading skills

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with CNC machines, punch press, and shear

+ Background in machine operation and production

**Work Environment**

The workplace is a smaller machine shop with a total of 8 employees, operating in a non-climate controlled environment. Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
