Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety standardsCalculate load capacities and determine the best methods to lift and move loads safelyRead and interpret load charts, blueprints, and work orders to determine operational requirementsCoordinate with ground personnel to safely guide loads and ensure correct placementAdhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environmentProvide clear signals and instructions to riggers and other personnel involved in lifting operationsMaintain accurate records of crane operations, including load weights, lift times, and maintenance logsQualifications:Valid crane operator certification from a recognized authorityKnowledge of load management, rigging techniques, and securing methodsMinimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial settingStrong understanding of safety regulations and operational standardsAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as requiredWillingness to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basisHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screeningGet in touch!
