FOR GENERAL LABORER-SHIPYARD The General Laborer in a shipyard is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks supporting ship repair and maintenance operations, including material handling, cleaning, basic assembly, and assisting skilled trades. Key Responsibilities: *Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting material (steel, tools, equipment, etc.) throughout the shipyard *Performing routine maintenance tasks on tools and equipment when needed *Cleaning work areas, including debris removal *Basic assembly and disassembly tasks *Assisting skilled tradespeople as needed *Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures Required Skills and Abilities: *Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods *Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights *Good communication and teamwork skills *Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines *Ability to work outdoors and/or indoors in various weather conditions ADDITIONAL DETAILS: **Location: North Charleston, South Carolina** **Temporary Position** **Must pass a pre-employment drug screening** **Weekly payroll with Direct Deposit** ** Salary: $15 per hr. ** Per Diem is offered @ $55 per day **Day & Night Shifts available** **40+ hours per week** JOIN OUR TEAM!
