We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the execution of distributed energy and data center power projects. The PM will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and customer expectations.
This is a hands-on role that requires both field and office presence, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and regular communication with vendors, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects (planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, close-out)
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Monitor project progress and performance; identify and mitigate risks
Ensure all projects meet internal standards and client expectations for safety, quality, and compliance
Support contract management, including tracking milestones and managing change orders
Maintain clear documentation and provide regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders
Oversee on-site activities during critical phases, ensuring alignment with design and project goals
Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and utility partners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
4-6 years of project management experience in energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors
Proven experience in managing electrical or renewable energy projects is a strong plus
Familiarity with construction and safety standards, permitting, and utility coordination
Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet, Procore)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Spanish language skills are a plus
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%)
