ISO 3 Utility Specialist Job Description Join our team in Rosedale, Maryland as an ISO 3 Utility Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supervising and coordinating daily activities of a skilled crew in the installation and maintenance of utility systems. Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise daily activities of a 2-7 person crew. Operate heavy machinery including Excavator, Dozer, and front-end loader. Sequence pipe installation to minimize interference with other project activities and the public. Request and supervise layout of utilities to be installed. Ensure crew and worksite safety, establishing a safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program. Monitor equipment to detect machinery malfunctions and ensure proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness. Monitor production and costs daily, analyzing job cost reports to ensure budgets are met. Review and approve employee time reporting and complete all required paperwork promptly. Maintain professional relationships with owners and co-workers. Coordinate with the Project Management Team to ensure all materials are on-site as needed and integrate the utility schedule into the overall project schedule. Perform all related tasks to support projects. Provide on-the-job training and suggest additional training to enhance crew members' skills and abilities. Essential Skills 10+ years of experience in the wet or dry utility field. 8+ years of experience operating Excavator, Dozer, and front-end loader. Knowledge of wet utilities, dry utilities, and heavy equipment operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Additional experience in the wet/dry utility field is a plus. Why Work Here?
