Heat Treat Operator**
**Job Description**
A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is seeking multiple Heat Treat Operators to join their team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating various furnaces and adjusting temperatures based on part runs, as well as handling materials and ensuring quality specifications are met.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate various furnaces and adjust temperatures based on part runs.
+ Push and pull boxes of product weighing 50 pounds.
+ Load and unload product to/from furnace repetitively.
+ Use quality instruments to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
+ Utilize shot blasting equipment to finish product after furnace treatment.
+ Weigh and package product per customer specifications.
+ Ensure proper documentation of materials, batch numbers, etc. per guidelines.
+ Withstand heat and be on feet for 8 to 12 hours at a time.
**Essential Skills**
+ General production experience.
+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently.
+ Experience as a Furnace Operator or Heat Treat Operator.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Materials handling skills.
+ 1+ year per job in work history.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in heat treatment processes.
+ Strong attention to detail for quality assurance.
+ Comfortable working in hot, dirty, and oily environments.

Training includes both lecture-style and hands-on machinery instruction. Shifts include 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
