Operator Job Description The Operator is responsible for operating various types of saws, including horizontal saw, hand saw, diamond saw, angular saws, and CNC routers. The role involves manufacturing custom, high-end decorative garage door covers and requires prior experience in finish carpentry, woodworking, and related fields. Someone with experience in finish carpentry, wood working, framing, machine operating, cabinetry is highly preferred Responsibilities Operate horizontal saws, hand saws, diamond saws, angular saws, and CNC routers. Manufacture custom, high-end decorative garage door covers. Cut wood and foam to size, glue materials together, apply wood veneer, etc Working with a variety of hand/power tools to build wood frames for panels. Conduct quality inspections and take measurements. Essential Skills Experience with saw operation and production. Career-oriented and motivated with a desire for growth. Team-oriented and communicates well with others. Proficient in cabinetry, carpentry, framing, painting, and woodworking. Experience with quality inspection/control and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with assembly, hand tools, blueprint reading, machine operation, and bandsaw. Comfortable using table saw, CNC router, HVLP guns, hot wire guns, and tape measure. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Why Work Here? The role involves working with lightweight magnetic panels that cover existing garage doors, made with high-end wood veneer. Employees may be exposed to excessive noise, dust, fumes, or chemicals on the shop floor.
