United Staging & Rigging seeks a skilled Welder-Fabricator with expertise in MIG & TIG welding, reading blueprints, and safety protocols. Proficiency in using power tools and mechanical knowledge is essential. A valid drivers license and 3-5 years of experience are required.
Responsibilities include fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment, cutting, shaping, and welding metal components, and measuring and marking dimensions on metal workpieces.
Working conditions involve standing for most of the shift, lifting up to 40 pounds, and familiarity with various materials like aluminum, stainless, and mild steel.
Operate machines like saws, drills, grinders, Bridgeports, and lathes to fabricate parts.
United Staging is located in Haverhill, MA, but will relocate to its new facility in Salem, NH, in the coming months. Standard office hours are M-F 7:00-4:00 with a 30-min lunch. Flexibility may be given outside of these hours. This is an hourly position paid weekly, with payroll distributed on Fridays.
