We are a locally owned well established construction company. We are also a family owned business established in 2000. We have been providing quality remodeling and construction services in lane county for 2 years. We are currently seeking a highly qualified journeyman Supervising Lead carpenter. This position would be mostly an onsite working position involving multiple jobsites. This is a working position in the field and your own personal hand tools will be required.
We are a very small Company and we primarily do residential work with some small commercial mixed in. We need another quality carpenter to work in our small crew. We run 1-3 jobs at a time. We are looking for someone experienced in all phases of construction. This is a perfect job for someone who would like a job that is not total high pressure, you can use your experience and craftsmanship to produce a beautiful finished product with a crew that is easy to work with and respectful.

The Successful Applicant:
MUST have a valid Oregon Drivers license with an insurable driving record
MUST pass drug screen and maintain drug-free workplace
MUST satisfactorily pass criminal background screening.
Benefits: After probationary period include: Paid holidays, paid vacation, 2 sick leave days a year. IRA plan 3% match If you choose to contribute.
Qualifications and Experience
7 Years experience in the construction/ remodel industry.
Demonstrate an above average level of working knowledge in all phases of Construction
Experience overseeing several residential construction projects at one time.
Possess proficient (above average) Computer skills: including Microsoft office, Word, Exel, and the ability to navigate the internet daily.
Proficient skills in the use of smart phone and communicating effectively via phone, email, text.
The ability to learn new programs such as CoConstruct project management software, DocuSign, Google Drive.
Above average communication skills, with subcontractors, FRC staff, Professional services, and clients
Ability to create construction jobs schedules while coordinating subcontractors/ vendors, and City inspections
Must be analytical: detail oriented, a self-starter, very organized, strong understanding of best practices and the ability to multi task different aspects of a construction project.
MUST have operable vehicle and valid drivers license
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
CoConstruct software experience would be great or the ability to learn system operation including gantt scheduling., job logs, and communication with subcontractors and clients
Journeyman level of carpentry skills including; layout, foundations, framing, finish carpentry, and overall construction processes
Perform carpentry work in the field with crews as needed.
Strong knowledge and process knowledge with trade work including Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Drywall, Painting, Specialties trades ( tile, marble, countertops, cabinets)
The Jobsite Supervisor is responsible for managing efficient and profitable project progress in its entirety from the point of job pre-walk to project completion,
Work closely with our salesperson, clients, trade contractors, suppliers, field carpenters and city inspectors to streamline construction projects
Monitor jobsite safety practices and procedures.
Manage and communicate with Trade contractors scope of work and schedule
Review all post sale documentation including scope of work, selections, final plans, finish schedule, permitting, trade schedules, and obtain final specs where needed.
Maintain daily job logs, update schedules and progress via laptop computer and cell phone app.
Maintain an organized job file with all pertinent construction docs for our crews and office.
Perform material takeoffs to order materials.
Oversee maintenance of assigned vehicle
