Lead Cabinet Maker

Busy General Contractor specializing in high-end residential is setting up a new woodworking shop in Ridgewood to handle all our millworking needs.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Cabinet Maker the initially help set up the shop and take the lead in running the shop.

This would be a good opportunity for someone already working as a Cabinet Maker and is ready for the next step.

Requirements:

Background in Cabinet Making / Residential Millwork
Proficient with all shop equipment and practices: table saws, panel saws, routers, power tools, hand tools.
Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and diagrams
Basic knowledge of calculations and measurements.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and complete jobs with demanding deadlines while keeping great attention to detail.
High energy level required with the ability to stand for long periods of time.

Minimum 3 years working in a carpentry setting
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Must be a good communicator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30 - $40 per hour
