Location: Terminal 1, JFK International Airport New York City, NY
Pay: $30$35/hour (commensurate with experience)

The Opportunity
Were seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM)to join our team on a landmark aviation project. In this role, youll support the Project Manager and Superintendent in coordinating all aspects of constructionfrom documentation and scheduling to safety and quality control. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage and track contract documents, RFIs, submittals, and procurement
+ Support design reviews and client implementation activities
+ Coordinate survey and layout efforts with the Superintendent
+ Collaborate with tech teams to ensure jobsite technology readiness
+ Monitor project schedules and budgets; assist in risk mitigation
+ Prepare reports on cost tracking, scheduling, and safety metrics
+ Review shop drawings and samples for accuracy
+ Enforce jobsite safety and quality standards
+ Assist with bid reviews, procurement, and change order tracking
+ Attend meetings, track open items, and follow up on deliverables
What Were Looking For
Required:
+ Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
+ 25 years of construction experience (aviation experience a plus)
+ Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, drawings, and construction standards
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar software preferred
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ OSHA Certification
Preferred:
+ Experience on aviation projects
+ Familiarity with PANYNJ procedures
+ Design-build project experience
+ Cost control and reporting experience
