CNC Laser Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our team in Nashville. This role requires standing on your feet throughout the day, assisting in cleaning the laser cutting table, and preparing for upcoming orders. You will operate the CNC Laser Machine, executing tasks based on blueprints and ensuring the machine is clean and prepped for successive orders. Responsibilities Operate CNC Laser Machine throughout the day. Stand on feet all day while running the machine for orders. Clean and prepare the machine after each job order. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and renderings for accurate task execution. Take and read work orders to efficiently cut sheet metal using the laser machine. Essential Skills Experience with CNC Machines. Proficiency as a Laser Operator. Knowledge and experience in the metal industry. Capability to operate a forklift and overhead crane. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with measuring tools and tape measures. Understanding of laser technology and operation. Familiarity with sheet metal production processes. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots and ear protection. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
