**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contract Manager to lead and oversee the full lifecycle of contract management for a sector of our Defense and Intel Business Unit. In this role you will get to lead a team and manage all contracts activity for a sector of the Defense and Intel Business Unit. You will be responsible for some of our largest, most complex services contracts in the Defense and Intel Business unit, along with managing challenging issues and negotiations.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Lead and develop a team of contracts professionals

+ Participates in Sector Business Unit, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.).

+ Selects personnel, makes staffing assignments, supervises work produced to ensure consistent high-quality performance.

+ Negotiates the most significant contracts or contract modifications, often under difficult conditions.

+ Draws upon broad prior experience to effectively negotiate the most favor terms and conditions with prospective and current clients while achieving Company objectives.

+ Identifies risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.

+ Provides training and development for personnel assigned

+ Maintains an active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues.

+ Keeps subordinates up to date relative to the availability of resource materials dealing with current contract administration and negotiation issues.

+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ 15+ years of prime contract administration experience within defense, government services, or commercial firm providing engineering, services, and/or construction is required.

+ 5+ year of demonstrated leading and managing a team of professionals.

+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

+ A comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of US Government, commercial and international prime contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, joint venture and other types of agreements.

+ Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.

+ Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.

+ The ability to independently negotiate the most complex contractual issues.

+ Experience managing complex situations.

+ US Person status.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ TS Security Clearance desired.

+ Experience proposing and negotiating contracts to support emerging technology in space solutions.

+ Experience managing and negotiating Intellectual Property.

+ Certified Professional Contract Management.

Salary Range: $128,700.00 - $231,700.00
