Shop Laborer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a dynamic shop environment. This position involves contributing to various areas of the shop, including tasks such as grinding, sand blasting, brazing, and painting. Flexibility is key, as duties may require standing or sitting throughout the day depending on the needs of the shop. It is important to maintain focus and refrain from using personal phones on the production floor during the shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in grinding, sand blasting, brazing, and painting tasks.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
+ Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment as needed.
+ Participate in assembly and production processes.
+ Utilize a tape measure and demonstrate basic math skills.
+ Support janitorial duties to ensure a clean working environment.
+ Being trained to operate forklifts, CNC machines, and other equipment
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience.
+ Ability to perform janitorial duties.
+ Proficiency in using a tape measure.
+ Basic math skills.

**Work Environment**
Work in a small machine shop with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.

This is a long-term, Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
