Welder**

**Job Description**

The role involves performing MIG and TIG welding to construct boxes for conveyor systems, occasionally requiring measuring and cutting steel. You will perform setup and all-position welding on a diverse line of standard weldments and structures, adhering to code certifications and inspection requirements. The position requires fitting and positioning weldments and selecting welding techniques within recognized procedures. You must be able to work independently from drawings and possess knowledge of welding techniques. Proficiency in using MIG, TIG, and Plasma to meet quality standards and tests, along with the use of inspection tools for quality checks, is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform MIG and TIG welding to create boxes for conveyor systems.

+ Measure and cut steel as required.

+ Perform setup and all-position welding on diversified weldments and structures.

+ Fit and position weldments according to prescribed or standardized techniques.

+ Work independently from drawings and select welding techniques within recognized procedures.

+ Use MIG, TIG, and Plasma proficiently to produce items to quality standards.

+ Conduct quality checks using inspection tools.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.

+ Ability to read and work from blueprints.

+ Knowledge of welding principles and techniques.

+ Experience with quality inspection tools.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Certified welder.

+ Ability to perform vertical down and up MIG welding and horizontal TIG welding.

+ Knowledge of using foot pedals for welding.

**Work Environment**

This is a typical manufacturing facility that is well lit but not climate controlled. The position is for the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime offered before the shift start, usually totaling 45 hours a week. Enjoy a work schedule with no weekend work.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
