Summary of Position:
This position will work with multiple vendors, contract administrators, and project managers to facilitate, manage and develop inventory and job materials before, during and after the construction project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services
- Selecting the most suitable supplies in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency
- Monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs
- Requesting quotes, negotiating prices, and creating purchase orders
- Maintaining records of all transactions and tracking shipments
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations
- Maintain database of inventory/material items
Essential Education and Qualifications:
- Must have strong organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in procurement
- Knowledge and previous work in the construction industry

Pay Range: $22/hr - $25/hr
