Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Jasper, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
  • Oversee repair and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and maintenance needs
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Develop and monitor maintenance budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations
  • Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and asset history
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex maintenance issues
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to improve maintenance processes and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Highly preferred- 5+ years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • In-depth understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Certification as a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different sites within the local area
