The Working Shop Foreman at Luther Infiniti of Bloomington is a skilled, detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive shop. This position is a full-time job with top pay and benefits. As an individual contributor, the Working Shop Foreman & Quality Control Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and timely repair of vehicles, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

$25-$70/hour (Incentive-Based)

Responsibilities:

• Work as a production technician with an emphasis on pre-owned vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the automotive shop, including dispatching, workflow, and repair quality to ensure the shop is meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly production goals.
• Communicate with service advisors and technicians to provide updates on repair statuses and identify any potential issues
• Ensure the shop is following all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with the Parts department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of necessary parts
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technologies to ensure the shop is using the most efficient and effective methods for repairs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
• At least 5 years of experience as a dealer automotive technician, with previous experience as a shop foreman or lead technician preferred
• ASE certification in several areas (e.g. engine repair, brakes, electrical) preferred
• A/C certification
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make sound decisions under pressure
