Here's what you'd do:
The Engineering Project Manager 2 will be responsible for leading a new engineering design release, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Plan, coordinate, and manage a new engineering design release, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and resource availability.
Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product management, design, QA, operations, and other departments to ensure successful program delivery.
Monitor and control project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables.
Proactively lead changes within the group to ensure the project scope is successful, while minimizing risk to the customer and the company.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules using project management tools.
Lead regular project meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on program status, milestones, and changes in scope or schedule.
Ensure engineering standards, procedures, and practices are followed.
Facilitate technical problem-solving and decision-making across cross-disciplinary teams.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Manage project documentation, change orders, and compliance requirements.
Interface with customers or external partners to define project needs and resolve issues.

Hours: 20hrs - 30hrs / Week

Job Requirements
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial.
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and project management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing engineering projects through the full lifecycle.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Project (or similar PM tools), and SAP
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams
Preferred Skills:
Master's Degree.
PMP certification.
Understanding of variable frequency Motor drives and their applications.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with deep technical knowledge.
Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Information:
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

Typical office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing or construction sites.
