Lead Controls Installer

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Controls Installer for a Mechanical Contractor in Macon, GA. This person is going to be responsible for running construction projects and overseeing the electrical components of HVAC and controls install on roughly 3-4 job sites at a time; primarily K-12 clientele. This person must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills as they will be working with general contractors, overseeing subcontractors and technicians and coordinating with other trades on the job to complete the work. This person will:
o Install HVAC and building automation controls
o Install control devices
o Support new construction as well as retrofit jobs
o Read and interpret diagrams

o 2+ years experience with commercial HVAC experience
o (service background - experience troubleshooting the technology; preferred electrical)
o Experience working in construction & competent about the dynamics of a construction job site
o 2 years experience working hands on with controls; ex Honeywell & Distech
o Leadership mindset and the ability to develop others
