Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
Fabricate electrical panels to specifications based on the engineering drawings.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Perform conduit bending, panel terminations, and device installations with a high level of accuracy.
Install electrical panels, circuits, and devices, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
Ability to think on the fly and make necessary adjustments during installations to ensure quality work.
Diagnose and repair electrical problems and malfunctions.
Perform regular electrical maintenance on electrical systems and components.
Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Communicate effectively with team members and production management team from several departments.
Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices.
Position Requirements:
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
10 years of experience as an electrician
Journeyman cerication in electrical work
Experience leading a crew of less experienced tradesmen
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Familiarity with electrical codes and standards, including the National Electric Code (NEC)
Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform calculations and measurements for conduit with precision
Mandatory familiarity with essential safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) utilization
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
