un Electrician (Bellevue) compensation: $150/HR Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to assist with jobs for our General contracting company. The Ideal candidate will already have other employment and is just looking for side work as extra income here and there. We are looking for an electrician who is willing to work as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency with various electrical tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC). Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other hand tools to troubleshoot electrical issues. Perform both low voltage and high voltage installations as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all electrical work. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Skills Proficient in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and various hand tools essential for electrical work. Strong understanding of frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Experience working as a commercial electrician with knowledge of both low voltage and high voltage systems. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
