Senior Construction Estimator

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Construction Estimator position include: Minimum 5 years of experience estimating construction projects, ideally in public works or education sectors Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and estimating software platforms (RS Means is a plus) Ability to lead the full estimating process from concept through subcontractor buyout Build lump sum and negotiated bids for public sector projects ranging from $500K to $3.5M+ Develop proposal packages, clarifications, bid tabs, and subcontractor instructions Maintain and grow relationships with local subcontractors to support bidding efforts; existing relationships with local subcontractors would be big bonus Collaborate with architects, PMs, and owners to develop accurate scopes and pricing strategies Occasional travel required along the I-35 corridor, primarily local to Round Rock Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5, 80% in office, occasional job site walks for takeoff Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
