un Need Plumber for Kitchen Wall Leak Sanitary Tee Suspected image 1 of 10 compensation: see ad Looking for an experienced, licensed plumber to diagnose and repair a leak behind our kitchen wall in a 1970s home in 92130 (del mar heights rd exit I-5). Background: New kitchen cabinets and counters installed a few days ago Wet spots discovered under LVP flooring near stove/sink. Fridge line shut off still wet. Moisture seems to be coming from inside the wall. One plumber suspects a failed sanitary tee (drain line connection behind wall), but didn't fully open the wall to confirm. Scope I need: Open drywall (interior) and/or stucco if necessary. Prefer tradespeople who can do it from exterior wall AND/OR from under sink and minimize damage to brand new cabinets. Diagnose exact leak point. Replace damaged drain/vent fitting (likely sanitary tee). TMK it is cast iron not ABS like newer builds. I am indifferent to material used so long as it is fixed and tested Patch wall Pressure/leak test after repair Additional Info: House is single-story, 1970 build Kitchen is against exterior wall Under-sink area is dry, fridge line now off, dishwasher not leaking Water seen under LVP and small damp patch outside wall Please respond with: 1. Your availability 2. Experience with drain line repairs behind finished walls 3. Hourly or flat rate quote for full scope (access, repair, close wall optional). I prefer flat rate for sake of uncertainty. if you must only work by the hour pls provide a ceiling or firm-ish ballpark of # hours needed. I don't need the stucco being replaced to be a perfect match. Just closed up. Aesthetically, not judging :) Photos attached. Thanks. Preference on will be given to those who can respond with all 3 asks above. post id: ... [ ]
