**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Division Director Clinical Resources is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing a clinically integrated supply chain across SVG. This position will provide leadership in expense management for the SVG facilities. The Division Director Clinical Resources is responsible for building strategic alliances with Vice Presidents of Operations, executives, directors, and staff as it relates to successfully performing the services required. This individual is responsible for managing CRDs, leading change positively, and setting the tone of the department as a service organization, continuously seeking to understand, meet, and exceed customer needs.
**What you will do:**
+ Provide leadership and strategic direction in supply chain operations, supply expense management, and supply chain clinical integration
+ Establishes a clinically driven culture in Supply Chain through building strong alliances with SVG executives, physicians, and clinicians
+ Collaborate with facilities to assimilate information from a variety of sources and analyze financial, operational, clinical, quality, and service metrics
+ Communicate strategic recommendations and execute a course of action for overall improvement in operations, expense, clinical integration, quality, and service
+ Execute operations and expense management plans at the facility and report these results to the VP Supply Chain in an accurate and timely manner
+ Successfully integrate the departments services with the ASCs primary functions
+ Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide or support service level expectations
+ Establish and meet expense savings goals for the enterprise
+ Develop supply expense plans and monitor performance to plan
+ Provide expense saving enhancement strategies for supplies in collaboration with SVG leadership
+ Coordinate efforts to enable successful supply improvement initiatives by quantifying opportunities, tracking data, and providing project management support
+ Facilitate the standardization of products and optimization of supply utilization through effective collaboration with physicians and clinicians
+ Facilitate the implementation of division-based purchasing projects at the facility
+ Execute infrastructure project plans the facility, including the implementation of the standardization programs for all supply chain functions (ie. SMART cleanup, master file standardization, online requisitioning, and EDI)
+ Manage facility implementation plans, identify and mitigate risks (leverage lessons learned, utilize proactive communication techniques), and monitor resource allocations to ensure successful execution of plan
+ Coordinate, manage, and evaluate division supply chain personnel
+ Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions
+ Determine staff qualifications and develop and maintain accurate initial and annual competency checklists, and initiates completion of initial and annual competency attestation forms
+ Create internal customer confidence, strive to improve customer satisfaction, and manage customer expectations through alignment of key stakeholders
+ Demonstrate responsibility for solving customer challenges by soliciting opinions and ideas from customers, and following through with customer commitments
+ Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
+ Provide effective verbal and written communication to a variety of stakeholders from executives to staff
+ Attend in-service presentations, and complete mandatory education.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of occurrence reporting system and utilizes system to report potential patient safety issues
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Bachelors degree (Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy or other Allied Health Profession) with related experiences in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance.
+ Master's degree preferred.
+ 5 years minimum experience managing people required.
+ LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credential preferred.
