Northeast Retail Sales Business Development Manager
We’re looking for a driven Northeast Retail Sales Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. In this key role, you will manage and grow retail customer relationships across the Northeast region, focusing on strategic account planning, customer development, and delivering on growth targets. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, present new products and trade plans, and help position Clemens Food Group as a trusted partner in the protein industry. This position is remote with regular travel throughout the Northeast region and one day per week in our Hatfield, PA office. Who you are:
- Experienced retail sales professional with a background in protein, pork, or consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industries.
- Exceptional relationship builder who thrives on customer engagement and collaboration.
- Analytical thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based role.
What you'll do:
- Lead and grow key strategic retail accounts within the Northeast region, ensuring alignment with customer and company goals.
- Develop and execute account growth plans, pursue white space opportunities, and support pricing, contracts, and new product launches.
- Analyze sales performance, KPIs, and customer trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and production teams to meet customer needs and deliver on trade plans.
- Manage account profitability
