**Job Description:**
BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Field Project Manager** to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and oversee all phases of complex construction engineering projects, ensure FDOT compliance, manage teams and subconsultants, support business development efforts, and drive project execution from scheduling and inspections to client communication and proposal management.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Capable of supervising and coordinating all phases of field representation on large complex projects, and can receive general instructions regarding assignments and is expected to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems
+ Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection programs, ensuring compliance with FDOT standards
+ Ability to support new project pursuits, win work, and oversee a construction management team
+ Source, train, and develop staff
+ Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members
+ Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures as they pertain to complex construction projects
+ Oversee the preparation and maintenance of construction project records in accordance with FDOT procedures including daily inspection reports and quantity computations, monthly progress reports and project logs, and the update of final estimates throughout the construction project duration
+ Direct and organize project meetings and oversee/assist with preparation of meeting reports
+ Coordinate with subconsultants and their staff assigned to projects
+ Examine the contractors schedule for conformance with project requirements, monitor contractors job progress against the approved schedule, and update the approved schedule as required
+ Interpret plans and specifications for contractor and discuss deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction
+ Review drawings, specifications, and installation for constructability (plans, specs, shop drawings)
+ Review detailed records of the contractors daily operations including manpower, equipment, construction methods, events that affect the work, and other contract documents
+ Inform Client on project issues and provide them with recommendations
+ Interact with Project Managers and clients in a proactive manner to determine what routine issues affecting project management need to be addressed
+ Interface proactively with the project managers, contractors, and inspection staff on various facets of the project including review of contract plans and documents, day-to-day construction activities and review of contractors submittals
+ Utilize Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to accurately report and track ongoing business opportunities and pursuits
+ Ultimately responsible for proposal management on lead pursuits, including preliminary and final reviews
+ Other marketing duties include providing timely resume updates, project write-ups, proposal support, and participating in marketing initiatives as required
+ Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports for self and team
+ Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent)
+ 12+ years of related work experience and
+ 3+ years in a managerial/leadership role at a field site
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ A Civil Engineering degree and registered in the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months) and six (6) years of engineering experience [(two (2) years of which are in major road or bridge construction)] or [(five (5) of which are in major bridge construction) - for Complex Bridge Projects with the exception of PTS projects which require two (2) years of major bridge construction], or for non-degreed personnel the aforementioned registration and ten (10) years of engineering experience (two (2) years of which are in major road or bridge construction).
+ A Master's Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one (1) year engineering experience.
+ Must have, or be able to earn within 6 months, the following qualifications CTQP Quality Control Manager, FDOT Advanced MOT, Critical Structures Construction Issues
