HVAC Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects located in and around Tacoma, WA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $42/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system efficiency

• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

• Communicate clearly with clients and team members

• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures on-site

Requirements:

• • High school diploma or equivalent

  • HVAC certification or relevant technical training preferred

  • Proven HVAC experience

  • Valid HVAC license and EPA Certification (EPA Card required)

  • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

  • Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, specifications, and job orders

  • Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in tight or elevated spaces

  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with smart HVAC systems or energy-efficient upgrades

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems

• Familiarity with local building codes and compliance requirements
