Demolition Laborer - Construction Site Cleanup Location: Des Moines, IA | Type: Full-Time | Pay: $16/hour starting wage Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm Job Overview: We're hiring Demolition Laborers to join a fast-paced team focused on post-demolition cleanup and material removal. If you have work experience in construction and enjoy physically demanding work, this is a great opportunity to get involved in hands-on projects across Des Moines. Job Responsibilities Perform general interior and exterior site cleanup after demolition Break down and remove materials including walls, ceilings, flooring, insulation, and wiring Safely transport debris and materials off-site using wheelbarrows, carts, or by hand Maintain a clean and organized job site in both residential and commercial settings Follow safety protocols and work efficiently in changing environments Qualifications Prior experience in construction, demolition, or general labor preferred Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Must be punctual and able to follow instructions from site supervisors What You'll Gain Starting wage of $16/hour with opportunity for pay advancement after 6-month contract completion Consistent weekly hours with potential for overtime Hands-on experience in demolition and site preparation Supportive team environment with room to grow Apply Today!
