Description
Actalent is hiring a CATIA Mechanical Design Engineer for the ADAS department within a major automotive OEM.
Duties to include but not limited to conducting design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, and manufacturing of assigned products.
- Draft engineering solutions for an assigned component or parts and the associated drawings and 3D layouts. Confirm and track the feasibility, costs, quality, and performance.
- Under the guidance of more engineers to confirm designs for an assigned components or parts then present at team evaluations, inform manufacturing, technical evaluators and / or suppliers.
- Preparation of Documents for evaluations. (Cost, Checklists, Technical and Styling feasibility).
- Project and supplier management
- Customer and market studies of new technologies.
- Self-improvement and training
Work with higher level engineers and experts to ensure components and parts assigned achieve layout, quality, cost, performance, and regulatory requirements are met. Travel could be required to other Honda facilities and suppliers not limited to North America.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
