- Develop and implement contract documents in designs, drawings, and products.
- Conduct and document engineering designs, including product design, connection designs, and lateral analysis.
- Support Project Coordinators and Checkers in the development of erection drawings.
- Assist Project Drafters and Checkers in the creation of production piece drawings.
- Perform checking duties on erection drawings and piece drawings.
- Support production, quality control, transportation, and field activities.
- Assist senior engineers on various projects.
- Communicate and manage project schedules effectively.
- Visit jobsites and production facilities regularly to understand procedures.
- Provide timely solutions to production facility and jobsite customers for deviations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Ensure the accuracy of drawings prepared by Project Drafters and Project Coordinators.
- Review drawings and designs prepared by external consultants.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong knowledge of structural design.
- Experience with precast concrete.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
This position involves regular visits to jobsites and production facilities to become familiar with production and erection procedures. The engineer will work closely with project teams and external consultants to ensure the successful implementation of designs and solutions. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
