Roofer

Installs, Repairs, and maintains roof on buildings.

Duties and responsibilities:

Installation: Installing new roofing systems, including various materials (shingles, tiles, metal, etc.) and ensuring proper sealing and flashing.
Repair: Identifying and fixing leaks, damaged shingles, or other issues with existing roofs.
Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance to extend the life of roofs.
Inspection: Examining roofs for damage, wear and tear, and potential problems.
Material Handling: Transporting, measuring, and cutting roofing materials.
Safety: Working at heights, following safety protocols, and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communication: Collaborating with team members, communicating with clients, and providing updates on project progress.
Estimating: Calculating the amount of materials needed and providing cost estimates for roofing jobs.
Clean Up: Maintaining a clean and organized work area and removing debris.

Pre requirements
1. Basic knowledge of tools (hammer, nails)
2. Basic English- CLB 4
3.fall Protect certificates
4. HS level
5. Willingness to Learn/ trainable/ positive attitude
6. Attention to details
7. Flexible ( one location to next)
8. No maintained devices ( safety due to heights )
