Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring an experienced HVAC Technician / Sheet Metal Foreman for a custom fabrication position in Greensboro, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone with extensive sheet metal experience to work in a shop environment creating custom ductwork and fittings. We're looking for one dependable, detail-oriented person with 5-10 years of experience who takes pride in quality work.

Work Scope Includes:

• Fabricating custom square and round sheet metal ductwork, including shoots made out of heavy metal

• Using shop equipment such as brakes, shears, and other fabrication tools

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling custom HVAC components to spec

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and shop tickets

• Leading and coordinating tasks independently like a foreman would

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Communicating with the project manager or team as needed

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of proven experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication

• Must have foreman-level skills and be able to work independently

• Must know how to operate brakes, shears, and other shop equipment

• Ability to make custom pieces and fittings from heavy metal stock

• Must have all necessary hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, work boots)

• Strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and attention to detail

• Ability to read and work from blueprints and shop drawings
