We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for evaluating bid opportunities, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring competitive and accurate estimates for a wide range of commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of roofing systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Bid Coordinator to select opportunities for bid.

• Bid invitations, plans, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate and competitive estimates.

• Assesses projects to identify labor, material, costs, and time requirements by researching bid invites, blueprints, contracts, and any other related documents.

• Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers.

• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages in a timely manner.

• Participate in pre-construction meetings and client meetings as needed.

• Maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, consultants, and suppliers.

• Coordinate with project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.

• Analyze historical data and market trends to improve accuracy and competitiveness.

• Seeking more than 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating.

• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and construction methods.

• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Edge, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license to meet insurance standards (must be 20 years or older and clean driving record).
