OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bartlett, IL, 60103. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems for custom automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform risk assessments.
  • Design Ethernet industrial networks.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing systems.
  • Participate in project planning and timeline management.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of project leadership.
  • Proven clean-sheet electrical design experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and circuit design.
  • Familiarity with automation industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Contribute 45 hours on average per week
  • Able to work in an office and manufacturing floor environment where a computer, telephone, machines, and other equipment are used as needed to perform duties
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand, and move from one area to another
  • Regularly required to work in constricted parts of machine cells
  • Constant and repeated use of the keyboard and mouse
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift, and move up to 50 lbs.
